A modified Porsche 911 which belonged to David Beckham has sold on eBay for a staggering £136,000, it emerged today.
The matt black Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible was England legend Becks’ daily run around in Los Angeles.
But after owning the model for two year, the midfielder – who is currently training with Tottenham Hotspur – decided it was time for ‘Porsche and Becks’ to go their separate ways – and sold it to California dealership Chequered Flag.

Dealer Neil Jaffe then advertised the Porsche on eBay, promptly sparking a bidding war among motoring enthusiasts looking to get their hands on Beckham’s old car.
After 45 bids, the Porsche sold for $217,000 USD (£136,000) – only £14,000 less than the £150,000 Beckham paid for it in 2008.
A standard 2008 Turbo is worth around £70,000 representing an impressive day’s business for Jaffe and his Los Angeles team.
It’s also another example of the power of ‘Brand Beckham’. When his old BMW M3 was sold on eBay in 2005, it went for £90,000 – £75,000 more than it was worth.
And last year his old TVR sold for £71,000 – around £50,000 more than the normal asking price.
