A motorist has released dashboard camera footage of a driver throwing entire BAGS full of rubbish out his window in a bid to shame the “appalling” litterbug.
Disgusted Paul Roberts, 44, was driving to a night out with his in-laws when he stopped at traffic lights behind a black Vauxhall Corsa.
But he was horrified when he saw the passenger roll down the window and hurl armfuls of empty food wrappers and boxes on to the side of the road before driving off.
Engineer Paul, from Southampton, s
aid: “We were disgusted. It is a beautiful part of the country and they made such a mess.
“We were appalled.
“I thought it was disgusting. We were all shocked. We couldn’t believe it.
“I thought I’m going to expose them – I’m going to have these buggers.
“I hope maybe that we can make people aware that you can’t just do that.”
The litterbugs struck on the A34 near Newbury, West Berkshire, at 7.45pm on Friday, when Paul and his family were on their way to a theatre show in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
They left the side of the road littered with rubbish which appeared to have come from McDonalds.
