Adventurer, TV personality and writer Ben Fogle was at Longleat safari park this Sunday supporting a national competition.
Thirty-six-year-old Ben is teaming up with coffee makers Kenco to launch the Kenco Eco Refill Young Eco Designer competition.
He hopes to inspire children and families to reduce and reuse waste in an imaginative way and become a new generation of upcyclers.
Competition organisers are asking youngsters aged six to 12 to make or design something that can be transformed from waste into a new object and contend for the Young Eco Designer 2010 title.
Ben arrived in an upcycled London Routemaster bus, which incorporates a design centre for children and a coffee area for the mums and dads.
Parents are invited to send in their youngsters’ designs to be in with a chance of winning the Young Eco Designer 2010 title and seeing their own design transformed into a reality. As well as the coveted title, the winner will win a trip to New York with their family
