Police today issued a nationwide missing persons appeal after a 14-year-old girl went on the run — with her 11-month-old daughter.
Brunette Tinishya Marshall, wearing a black velour tracksuit, was last seen pushing baby Sophie to the shops in a pink buggy at 3.30pm on Friday.
She was last seen with her ex-boyfriend Howard Norman, 16, who is thought to be Sophie’s father, who has also gone missing.
Desperate family and friends have printed posters and set up a series of Facebook groups pleading for anyone with information to get in touch.
Worried relatives are concerned because Tinishya left all of Sophie’s belongings at home in Southmead, Bristol, and left without a change of baby clothes.
Tinishya’s mum Liz Marshall, writing on a Facebook group yesterday – which boasts 1,000 members – urged her daughter to get in touch.
She wrote: ”Tinishya we miss u loads please please contact us so we know u and sophie are ok xx we love u babygirl and missy moo.”
Avon and Somerset Police yesterday issued an urgent appeal to help trace the teenager, who is described as 5ft 2in tall, of heavy build with dark brown shoulder length hair.
When last seen she was wearing a black velour track suit with a white top underneath and her daughter Sophie was wearing a red velour track suit in a pink pram.
Howard is described as white, 5ft 5in tall with short mousy brown hair and wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a white T-shirt and white trainers.
Officers believe Tinishya and her child may be in North Somerset or have travelled to Devon.
COngratulations to UK on having such young mothers (hookers?).
You going down!
